Little Mister was very proud to have made his own peanut butter and jelly sandwich today. I stood back and watched as he carefully went through the steps, explaining to me as he went along...
"This is how you do it, Mama."
"First, you get the bread...Mama, can you open the bag?"
"Then you get the peanut butter...HEY! Where's the peanut butter?"
"Then you get the jewwy...strwrawberry is my favowrite."
"Next you spwead on the peanut butter...not too much."
"Then the jewwy...I reawwy wike jewwy."
This whole process took him probably ten minutes. He was so careful. And then...so proud.
"I did it all by my own self!"
Cheers to accomplishment...no matter how small!
