Day one Hundred and Fifty-Three
Today was a good morning of math lessons followed by the pick-up cousin Jackson and park time! It was cold, but dry and we headed to the park with Nerf guns, water, and a meager lunch. They had such a good time on the playground, then moved on to shooting darts at trees and the school bell (to see who could make it ring), racing around the playground equipment, climbing, sliding, jumping from high places (when I wasn't watching), and collecting pinecones (followed by throwing them at one another....which had to be stopped due to the evil glares shot in my direction).Three hours later, four boys piled into the van, ready for a snack and some down time at home. The day with Jackson turned into a sleepover and one tired mom retired to bed while leaving the boys to fend for themselves while watching a movie. Aidan decided that he'd had enough and went to bed, leaving Dominic and Jackson in the living room. The two of them decided to watch the movie again and both fell asleep sometime during the second viewing. The probably ate more ice cream than they should have, but hey...it's spring break.
